Is this a final goodbye blog?

I am sad to say that this may be my last and final blog post on blogger. It has been a great semester full of expanding my knowledge on social media and sharing my thoughts with you all. I never thought that blogging would be this fun and interesting, and I am surprised to say that I actually liked telling you all about my opinions and sharing knowledge about the social world we live in today. If it weren't for my COMM 373 class, I probably would not have gained such a fine interest in blogging. I think it is very important for blogging to be a part of a social media class because it gives students the opportunity to build a brand for themselves and begin developing their online presence. It is not enough to learn about the social media world and talk about it in class, we needed to actually experience what it was like to present ourselves online. 

This blog has really contributed to my digital footprint because it demonstrates my active social media use and leaves a trail of my opinions online. When others see this, they will get a sense of my personality and brand voice online. This blog could build a great reputation for me in the social media world if others appreciate my commentary and decide to comment or agree with my views. I am aware that my blog isn't very popular and doesn't have many views, but I like being able to say whatever I want and share my opinions with other bloggers. I hope that someday more people decide to read my blog and I can gain a wider audience. 

When I first began writing this blog post for today, I didn't think I would want to blog ever again because it takes up time and I am a very busy person. But while writing today's post, I decided that I think I want to keep blogging. Not specifically about social media but about my life and the obstacles I've overcome. Blogging to me has become very therapeutic, I want to be able to write when I'm stressed or have something on my mind and want to share it with others. So if you asked me "Would you continue blogging?", I would answer YES. Stay tuned! I might start a dog mom blog :)
